BTW, I have a serious query. I’m fairly young (35), have always had oily skin and because of early menopause have “suffered” with facial perspiration when I hot flash. Any pro recommendations for foundations, concealers or powders?

I have to disagree about the oily skin. I’ve tried not moisturizing, doesn’t help at all. I have oily skin and if I don’t moisturize my skin feels dry even though my face looks shiny. The best is using oil-free moisturizer with salicylic acid. The skin need moisturizing, the oil doesn’t moisturize.

Bicarbonate soda mixed with shampoo to exfoliate your scalp is also really nice if you have oily hair/scalp. It does give a lot of volume, which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Love the tip to try it as a face scrub, will have to give that a go.

does your tip with the aspirin also work with paracetamol? I’m asking cause they sometimes tend to have similar effects eg with regards to headaches etc
